A promising 14th edition of Printpack commences
Printpack 2019 opens at India Expo Centre on a grand note

rintpack India 2019 was inaugu-
rated on Friday, 1 February 2019
at 11 a.m. by S Dayaker Reddy,
president of IPAMA. He is also the
president of various federations and as-
sociations across the globe. This is the
14th edition of the show. A total of 509
Indian and foreign exhibitors are partici-
pating at the ongoing edition of Print-
pack India, covering various segments
from the graphic arts industry. The event
is being organized on a gross area of
65,000 square meters. On this occasion,
the business visitors’ guide was also
launched by the dignitaries on the dais.
In his inaugural speech, Reddy
welcomed the guests of honor, special
invitees, exhibitors and business del-
egates from various countries including
GC members of IPAMA and media per-
sonnel. He acknowledged the service
providers’ role in organizing the show.
He also informed that the duration of
the show has been increased to six days

this time on the demand of exhibitors
and business visitors without increasing
the space rentals. Hall No. 1 at Print-
pack is dedicated exclusively to the
corrugation industry in which ICPBMA
and FCBM are the partners. Similarly,
Hall No. 3 has been exclusively ear-
marked for the label industry in which
ALPS is the partner. Reddy said that
there were around 100 companies who
failed to get a space in the show as it
was sold out, two months before the
commencement of the exhibition.
He also informed that during the
Printpack event, various shows, confer-
ences, seminars, B2B business meets
and other related programs will be or-
ganized with the support of various as-
sociations and organizations.
Note - The exhibition will remain
open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Business visitors can avail free shuttle
services from Botanical Garden to the
venue from 08.30 a.m. onwards.

he first day of the Printpack ex-
hibition at India Expo Centre in
Greater Noida opened with the
official inauguration led by industry
leaders and functionaries with drums
and fanfare. After the inauguration, the
VIP toured the entire show with band
playing behind it. At the same time
several exhibitors launched their own
stands with lamp lighting and ribbon-
cutting ceremonies. Heidelberg India
brought several of its leading commer-
cial and packaging customers for the
ribbon cutting and startup of the diecut-
ting and foiling machines that it is show-
ing running at its stand in Hall 9. The
company’s thrust in the market is very
clear that it is looking to dominate the
