IMPACT INVESTING

CREATE JOBS , ELIMINATE MATERIAL POVERTY

We believe that business can be a transformative force for good that positively impacts our world . Through our Impact Investing pillar , KeHE Cares ® seeks to eliminate poverty through sustainable job creation . We provide affordable capital in the form of micro-loans to entrepreneurs and business owners who are unbanked or underbanked . The loans are paid back over time with interest so we can reinvest the funds in another organization , creating a sustainable economic engine .
We also invest in businesses focused on relieving human suffering . By pouring into transformative businesses , dependence gives way to dignity and freedom as people receive the help they need to build a life of flourishing for themselves .
In 2023 , we increased our portfolio to a total of 21 investments across the nation and around the globe . Of note , one of the direct loans we made was paid in full , allowing us to redeploy the capital . This maximized the social impact in a sustainable way .
RWANDA

INDIA Through Creation Investments , we provided financial services to hundreds of thousands of low income / poor individuals , growing their family income through micro-loans and savings groups with a special focus on women-empowerment .
DALLAS , TEXAS Through Eagle Ventures ’ Freedom Fund , we invested in six companies focused on combatting slavery and human trafficking .
