Established in 1979, Lucas Greenhouses has built its reputation on growing exceptional plants and building lasting partnerships with our customers. Located in Southern New Jersey, just a short drive from Philadelphia and within two hours of both New York City and Baltimore, Lucas Greenhouses encompasses more than 2 million square feet of environmentally controlled greenhouse space, over 40 acres of outdoor production, and employs more than 375 team members during our peak season.
With more than 25 years of propagation experience, Lucas Greenhouses has produced millions of rooted cuttings shipped to growers throughout the United States using our temperature-controlled trucks, as well as FedEx and UPS. Our propagation facilities feature supplemental grow lights, heated flood floors, computerized environmental controls, natural ventilation, and ozone water treatment systems, allowing us to consistently produce healthy, high-quality young plants. Over the years, Lucas Greenhouses has been honored with numerous industry awards, including Greenhouse Grower magazine’ s prestigious Grower of the Year and Operation of the Year awards.
New this year, we’ re excited to introduce our perennial liner program. Working with the industry’ s leading perennial breeders and suppliers, we’ ve carefully selected proven genetics to offer more than 200 perennial varieties. Available from Week 50 through Week 40 in our convenient split 102 tray format, these grow-toorder liners provide the quality, consistency, and flexibility our customers have come to expect from Lucas Greenhouses.
