Trial Gardens
Over the years, Lucas Greenhouses has become the industry’ s east coast trial destination. Visitors travel great distances to see the newest varieties and top performers before they even hit the market.
Starting in July and running through September you can view almost 1,000 large pots of vegetative annuals on display in our nearly 4 acre trial area. Visit us in late September to view our mum and aster trial which features several hundred different varieties from multiple breeders. We end each year by offering a poinsettia trial in early December that is always well received.
If you would like to view trials, please call ahead to make an appointment. This way we can have someone available to show you through the trials.
