• Develop essential patient care skills: vital signs, personal care( bathing, feeding, toileting), patient transfers, and infection control( including proper handwashing
• Develop soft skills necessary for employability in healthcare.
• Meet competency standards set by the MN Nurse Aide Registry.
• Provide patient care in healthcare facilities by participating in 16 hours of supervised practical training( outside of regular school hours). Optional to participate but required to qualify for nurse aide certification.
