Course Name: Web Design Type of Course: Elective Course
Available to: 10th- 12th grade Prerequisites: Digital Design( 74 %+)
Description: This is the third course in the Web Development Pathway. This course will equip students with the ability to plan, design, and create a website. Students will move past learning how to write code and progress to designing a professional-looking website using graphical tools that contain multimedia elements. Working individually and in teams, students will learn to work with web page layout and graphics elements to create professional-looking websites. Students who successfully complete this should be prepared to take an End of Pathway Assessment( EOPA) to be able to earn an industryrecognized credential.

Description: This course is the foundational course for the Law Enforcement Services / Criminal Investigations( LESCI) pathway. It is designed to provide students with career-focused educational opportunities in various LPSCS fields. It examines the basic concepts of law related to citizens’ rights and the responsibilities, and students will receive instruction in critical skill areas including: communicating with diverse groups, conflict resolution, ethics, CERT( Citizens Emergency Response Training, or similar program), basic firefighting, report writing, terrorism, civil and criminal law.
