Joe later played a key role in merging FIELD Extracts into Glass House Brands / Glass House Group— helping grow the company from a modest farm and single brand to one of California’ s larger integrated cannabis operators with extensive greenhouse cultivation, manufacturing, and retail presence. He was closely involved during a period of strong operational scaling, cost discipline, and product expansion under Glass House’ s public listing.
After Glass House, Joe served as EVP of Revenue for Story Cannabis, helping grow its footprint from one state to five. Currently, he is the CEO of CULTA, a Maryland based vertically integrated operator. In this role, he brings his operational expertise, strategic vision, and commitment to quality and community to the Mid-Atlantic region, continuing his mission to deliver cannabis products that elevate experiences and respect people and place.
JARED MALOOF Chief Executive Officer | Standard Wellness
Jared is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in providing strategic direction and business performance improvement. He currently serves as CEO of Standard Wellness Holdings, LLC a multi-state operator which is vertically integrated and holds cultivation, processing, and dispensary licenses in Ohio, Missouri, Utah, and Maryland. He received his Bachelor’ s Degree from the University of Colorado School of Business and his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University. Jared is admitted to the Ohio Bar.
Jared is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with extensive GAAP familiarity and holds more than 15 years of business, finance, and audit experience. Throughout his career, he has led various capital raises which generated $ 1.6B in debt and equity.
Prior to entering the cannabis industry full-time in 2019, Jared served as CFO at PSC Metals, Inc, a recycling company and reportable segment of Icahn Enterprises which boasts revenues in excess of $ 1.1B. At PSC Metals, he developed and presented a five-year strategic plan to Carl Icahn designed to increase enterprise value by over $ 250M while also managing a series of acquisitions and divestitures for the company.
Prior to joining PSC Metals, he served as Director of Finance and Director of Supply Chain Optimization at Aleris International, a multinational organization with revenue in excess of $ 5B. Jared was the Treasurer of the May Dugan Center for four years and lives in Fairview Park, Ohio with his wife, Wendy, and their four children.

Ed Schmults is the CEO of Firelands Scientific, a leading medical cannabis company based in Ohio. Before taking on this role in 2024, he served as CEO of StateHouse Holdings from 2022 to late 2024, where he oversaw the integration of major California cannabis brands following a merger. Schmults brings extensive leadership experience from both the cannabis and consumer goods sectors, having previously led Calyx Peak Companies and Wild Things Gear, and served as CEO of FAO Schwarz. His career also includes senior roles at Patagonia, RedEnvelope, and early work in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Beyond executive positions, he has held board roles at Vera Bradley and REI. Schmults earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
