Body Talk BY LISELI. M Shattered on the floor were fragments of lies that I had once worn as a cloak of truth. That cloak was heavy, it was shameful, it dictated what I wore, and constantly made me worry about what people thought. I never sought beauty, rather normalcy. Normalcy had become the cage that distorted and restricted my ability to understand that God had made me just right, just to be who I am. To me acceptance of my body and the image that I behold in the mirror means  soaring on the wings of uniqueness with a purpose.
