the house to Elvis when I was really young and telling me “This is Elvis!” I sang at school in 2nd grade and loved it but didn’t follow up with it. I have a deeper voice and all the girls who got parts for anything had high soprano register voices so I jumped to the conclusion I wasn’t a singer. The desire never went away but I started writing. I ended up writing with Bon Jovi in 2013 we wrote a re- ally good record and I learned how to be a better songwriter but I still wanted to be a singer and denied it for a long time and went through a drug addiction for 4 years which is a long time, almost died a few times, not an uncommon story, but when I got sober I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. First I was a teacher and while I was teaching I went after it full time. I think meeting Jon really helped, and through Jon I met Billy Falcon and he really taught me how to write. We wrote 6 great songs together. Ok now let’s play it’s a small world (laughs) I’ve been to Jon’s house twice and Billy was one of my best friends. 146
