time, but I spent hours just staring at the im- mensely dynamic draw- ings, I was especially attracted to the fight scenes as I just couldn’t wrap my head around how you could make a few lines on paper come alive like this. After this period I got into look- ing at character design- ers like Aaron Blaise and other early Disney influences. I remember the first time I saw the work of Electric Pick and Jesse Smith in a maga- zine years ago, my mind was blown. I had never seen this type of stylised drawings executed on skin in this way, it changed my life. Later on as I started tattooing I discovered the works of the great Filip Leu, Vlady, James Tex, Steve Moore, Aaron Cain, Victor Chil, Jamie Ris etc which still inspires my work a lot today. Even though I’ve moved a bit away from the new school feel the last few years, I still feel like new school and Japanese has the movement of any tattoo styles. And that is a thing I greatly admire.
