you get your colors
to pop the way you
do?
Thanks mate, for
me it’s all about
choosing your co-
lours in the right
way to compliment
each other and the
skin they go into,
the more toned the
skin is the more I
saturate the whole
image throughout,
and if I have really
pale skin I can get
away with using
much more dusty
tones and concen-
trate on making one
or two tones really
pop, which the dusty
colours help me
do. And then there is of course also a lot of technique and years of
practice involved.
Have you had formal training in art?
I briefly went into animation which taught me a lot. But it wasn’t for
me, so I don’t have any formal training, but I have worked with so
many great artist over the years and learned so much from just lis-
tening and keep on trying to push myself. I think if you’re able to
push your ego aside and take everything from working with brilliant
