You started performing at a pretty young age. I got into theater first and I was in a touring company for Sound of Music and then came to new York and Booked “Showboat” on Broadway and at the same time I booked a kids show on PBS called “The Reppies” which was a band of rock n roll dinosaurs and I was about 10 years old and decided to go with that because the TV show was the main lead. I did 64 episodes of that which was super fun. I was back and forth between New Your and Florida for a couple of years and that’s how I landed the “Guiding Light” soap opera which I did for 2 ½ years. I ended up leaving because I got signed by Epic Sony in a band PYT. We toured with Britney twice, N’SYNC twice, Destiny’s Child, 98 Degrees, the Superbowl with Aerosmith, Sting and Styx. We toured for about 4 years. I was in the band until I was almost 18. Is that when the acting kicked in? Yea, I did “Raise your Voice” which was my first major release with Hilary Duff and then followed by leading roles in “American Pie: Band Camp” and “Frat Party.” And the transition from high school to college? Yes, and my senior year I didn’t act that much because I wanted to do kid’s stuff. I went to college to be a Dr, I was doing pre med, but I got really depressed. I was like what was I thinking, I don’t want to be a doctor. I missed acting and singing. I got an audition for the WWE and I knew what it was but I just I had never really watched it. I did the audition just to take a meeting because I just wanted to start doing stuff. I got a call back and they flew me out to CT which is where they have their screen tests and I was like “Whoa, this is pretty big deal”. Being part of the WWE was crazy! It was a whole other animal be- cause at that time I had done acting, music, hosting for Teen Nick- 99
