I started modeling at
20 years old and had
been published in 2
magazines as well
as attending social
events, town functions,
serving as a host, and
things were looking
great for my model-
ing career and my life.
One night while com-
ing home from a show
I got into a life chang-
ing car accident break-
ing my c7 in my neck,
and t8 in my back, as
well as shattering my
pelvic region bound-
ing me into a wheel-
chair. At that moment,
all positive aspects of
my life, as well as, all
the doors my young
soul had opened for me to have a successful, long life was, in my
opinion, gone. The change in lifestyle, going from a careless spirit,
switching quickly to a wheelchair bound energy, made me almost
second guess my existence. This car accident really freaking made
me not believe this could POSSIBLY be reality. That’s what really
made me start getting so many tattoos. You know, before my car
accident I was making a lot of money and had badass plans for my
future. It was hard for me to believe that all of that changed in about
5 seconds. So I used getting tattoos, as a surge of existence. The
pain of the tattoos made me feel real again. It was a refreshing feel-
ing that I used as incentive to make this savage life all I can.
