I got an email from Sean at Club Tattoo an hour ago about being in the magazine, are you guys still friends? I wouldn’t say friends, Sean and I go way back, I was about 2 months shy of working with him for 13 years and when Joey made the show he did everything he could to make Joey feel like it was all him as to why Joey did as well as he did on that show, which is bullshit because Joey is a fantastic artist and when you go on there it’s your skills, but Sean will rave up and down that he’s the one that got him on the show, he’s the one that caused him to win the fan vote, and then I get on season 4 and Sean will tell you the same thing and when we get back in the shop and we’re trying to work and do the things that we need to do to make sure that we solidify our futures, Sean would say he made that all happen too and it’s all a bunch of crap. We worked at his shop and did really well on the show and that’s about as far as it goes. Everything we’ve done so far is Joey and I. We opened Revolt Tattoos and have been in business about 10 months and we’re doing extremely well, and again, Sean would have you believe it was all him. Joey did show him the plans and asked if he wanted to be on board and Sean said no, i’ve got this here and didn’t want to be a part of it, and as soon as Joey left he was like I hate you, and they were really good friends, and a few months later I said I was leaving and going to open a shop with Joey 153
