hours to complete. It’s definitely very difficult and very time consuming so it really just depends on how much free time I have to determine how much time to spend on it. And it very much varies on my travel schedule. The Lord of the Rings car I just did in the mornings before I went to Tattoo so I would actually wake up at 7 in the morning and start painting by 7:30 so that I could go to work by noon. The Star Wars truck I actually took off an entire month for which was actually kind of frustrating and a relief at the same time. It was nice to not have anything to worry about but at the same time it also felt like I was really trying to meet this deadline instead of painting on my free time because I enjoyed it. Have you painted any other types of vehicles (Motorcycles, Boats, Tanks etc) and if not any plans to? Yes I painted a bunch of motorcycle helmets and motorcycles but I tend to turn more commissions down that I actually do because of my previous commitment to tattooing. It gets to be very hard to find the free time to do commissions for other people. I tend to like to stick to tattooing more than painting for commission because it does 131
