How much of a change have you seen in the past ten years? There have been a lot of changes in the tattooing industry, mostly good ones! I’ve seen a lot more artists that focus primarily on the individuality of their artwork and not necessarily the ego behind it. More and more artists are working to grow and practice other art forms, try new things. There’s more of a willingness to help each other out too, to unite as colleagues as opposed to competitors. Hopefully the industry will continue to grow in the coming years. Now that a few years have passed since Best Ink, would you legally be able to do Ink Master? And would you want to? As far as my future and other series, I’m unsure if I’m up for another competition show. I hate to rule anything out but I’m happy with how things are going now. If someone did another tattoo tv competition with all female artists who would you like to see on it or compete with? That’s an interesting question. 67
