You do a lot of guest spots and conventions. What is the attraction for you? I love life as a traveler, going to conventions in different states and countries. The adventure, growing as an artist, learning new techniques, and experiencing new things are an important part of my life. Being around other artists is a great way to grow personally as well as help the industry expand and broaden. The best part of conventions for me is seeing people I normally wouldn’t see all the time. Who are you always excited to see? I’ve developed a lot of friendships with other traveling artists and it’s always good to see them. It’s like a family reunion. Seeing my clients and their excitement for their new tattoos is a thrill too. Being able to make someone happy with your artwork is really rewarding. Don’t want to stay on Best Ink questions and after this there will only be one more but now that a good amount of time has passed since you were on the show you would you say the show totally increased your confidence and made you a better artist all around? Whenever you’re thrown into an environment and forced to adapt under pressure forces growth. I feel like I’m more confident and better as an artist, but not necessarily because of the television show, or even all of the publicity. I like to think it’s a choice to grow.
