wrong. The show pointed out that I will defend anything that’s wrong. I will defend anybody I consider a friend, because that’s what friends do. Lets not get ahead, that’s one of my questions (laughs) You seem very loyal and insistent on fairness and even sticking up for people you were actually competing against. I believe in fairness. I don’t want to win off of anything besides what I’ve done. I want to win fairly otherwise it doesn’t mean anything. If I don’t win fairly it means nothing. Friends to me are family. I defended Earl because I consider him a brother. He’s like a brother to me because he has lived with me, worked together, and helped each other. Because of the circumstance in which I grew up, I consider people who are friends to me family. Do you spend as much time on your photography as you would like? I don’t. I wish, but I need to focus on what I am passionate about. I’m thinking about stepping back a little and making time to do these things. With photography I can build art that will translate into my tattooing, and that goes with any medium. I’m passionate about any 218
