S: Which judge would you say understood you best?
M: Dave Navarro. Dave liked my style. He likes darker art, and he likes surrealism and realism. A lot of people are like why is Dave even a judge, and
I didn’t even get that till I was there. He’s that person who isn’t a tattooer,
he’s there to enjoy the art. He’s not picking apart your application, he’s not
attached to what’s exactly Japanese traditional or American traditional and
that’s his favorite thing, he’s just there to check it out as a normal citizen
who likes art, and he knows a lot about art and has an extensive collection of paintings, he’s just there to say yea, I can enjoy this piece or not. So
Dave and I were more on the same page as far as art goes.
C: I don’t know any of the judges. I don’t hang out with any of them, I
don’t talk to any of them, there just a bunch of dudes who showed up
on set and told me my shit sucked, so fuck those guys.
M: (laughs) Cleen gets along with everyone.
S: Any long term goals?
C: Oh, let’s hear this because she has it all fuckin’ planned out. This
one’s a planner. This one will plan it all out. I wanna hear this too! Let’s
