it? I didn’t start tattooing till later in life. I was already living in Miami. But before tattooing, I was doing freelance work for comic book companies. Drawing comic books is like the perfect primer for tattooing because a comic book artist has to be very versatile. To make a comic believable you have to master page layout. You have to look at different angles, different lighting, character interaction,vehicles, animals, environments, etc It’s a really involved process and that versatility carried over when I started tattooing.
