just take the seminar for the novelty of it, then you’ll have painters who will take it for their own purposes, having nothing to do with the medium what so ever, and that’s what I’m focusing on more in the seminar, the content of it is my technique as an artist. I think the medium is secondary to the art, I believe it should never overshadow it. It’s a kind of fine line because often the media likes to focus on the blood, which obviously, it’s a point of interest, but I could be painting in any medium and the paintings would still look like that, they would be just as developed. Yeah your talent transcends the medium, I think in the beginning the attraction and the curiosity brings you in, but once you see the work, it’s just beautiful work. Thank you, but yeah to answer your question and talk about the seminar a bit, once again it’s the first time I’m doing a seminar, so I’m excited to do it, It will be in lecture format initially, I’m going to go over all my techniques, I’m just going to give it all away, then I will be doing a demonstration. I will be doing a first pass of a painting, so the beginning, and then I will be doing a last pass, the finishing touches. The attendees can get a sense of how I start and finish everything. Because It’s just dozens and dozens of passes over the surface of the whole painting to get it to look like that. Do you have any plans to get into making DVDs? I know a lot of artists are doing that right now. You know, I haven’t even thought about that, but maybe I will. That would be cool. I’m a pretty modest guy, a lot of the time I feel like, I think that everyone who’s putting DVDs out is justified in doing so, I think they are providing something and sharing something with people. The tattoo artist Halo is actually putting out a DVD, it’s not so much about tattooing it’s more about Photoshop for tattoo artists, some artists stay away from technology completely, he’s trying 93
