When did you start drawing? I can’t remember exactly when I started but I have been drawing as long as I can remember. When I was in my awkward teen stage I would stay home and draw portraits of musicians I loved. What led you to tattooing? About 8 years ago a friend of mine saw me painting a portrait of my step-grandmother and suggested that I would be good at tattooing. I started looking into it and at first I was met with some negativity. One artist told me just because I went to art school and could draw didn’t mean that I’d be able to tattoo and that my drawings wouldn’t translate into tattoos.
