Was the show an idea that you had? Or were you approached by the
network?
The show was actually not our idea at all. We had just been doing our thing,
like we had for years, and TV came and approached us. Over the course
of a couple of months I’d say about seven or eight production companies
would call up the shop and say “you guys interested in doing a show, or
putting together a sizzle reel, or developing a show? It could take a while.
It could take you up to two years or so to get a show, or more to get a show
on the air”. This one production company called us, “Left field Productions”,
and said that they were approached by a network to produce a show, which
