her clients would say “Hey, what’s going on with this tattoo? Can you zap
that too?” They really didn’t understand the difference. They would think
because it’s a laser it can remove it. What they didn’t know was that it could
burn them.
C: So I started to research and realized that no one was focusing on this
industry. And having kids of the age where they could start getting tattoos I
thought well this will be a huge industry. So I did more research then bought
one laser and a Zimmer and started off very, very small in a basement here
in Boston. We did a bit of marketing and the business grew quickly. After
about a year in the business the Picosure was introduced. The Picosure
was the first advancement in the tattoo removal industry in twenty years. It
was a really bold and scary move to
jump into a $270,000 machine but it
has proven to set us apart from our
competitors and has created an opportunity for us to be the leaders in
the Pico based tattoo removal. We
were the first to have it with a high
volume business so we’re now the
most experienced facility with Pico
technology.
