motorcycle thing. When they were building motorcycles like crazy every person in the world was like “That’s a cool chopper!” It happens. You’re not gonna stop that. I think TV is good and bad for tattooing. Of course it opened the eyes of the public; it got us more in the mainstream. It’s not as looked down upon as it used to be. But then again you’re going to end up getting that kind of stuff where people think they know everything there is about tattooing. You watch Ink Master and you think that every tattoo can be done in four or five hours. I get people who come in for sleeves everyday that want it done that day. It’s not gonna happen. There’s good and bad. I don’t hate on anybody or any show. Everybody’s out there to hustle. That’s what the world is about; it’s not just this industry. We all hustle. You guys wouldn’t be standing in front of me if you weren’t fucking making money. So we’re all here to make money. If you can get on TV and get known, you can’t get any better than that. I can’t pay for the advertising that I got off of my show. Then all you do is ride that way man. You ride it as long as you can and as far as you can and get whatever you can out of it. That’s the story of life. That’s what it comes down to, I ain’t gonna bullshit. If I can get on another TV show tomorrow, I’ll be on it. Is that something that’s crossed your mind, something that you’ve looked into? Yeah, I’m working on a couple of ideas. I’m a little different from a lot of the guys you’ll interview because I had my own show. I wasn’t on a show with twenty other people, I had my own. So I dealt with a lot of executives that they would never even meet. So I got a foot in the door that a lot of people don’t have. So when I have ideas I know who to call. So yeah, I’m working on a few little things that’ll make good TV with drama. So we’ll see what happens. Switching gears a little bit…earlier this year at one of the conventions you had a huge part in doing a lot of stuff for autism. Is that something that’s personal to you? To be quite honest with you man, I have a couple friends and a neighbor who has a child who has a severe case of autism. It isn’t something that near and dear to me. I just believe that anything that effects especially children or any disease that effects anybody where I don’t feel enough is being done about it, that’s near and dear to me.
