Yea, that sucks. I got in trouble with the producers because I listen to a lot of really bad pop music from the 80’s and movie soundtracks and I start- ed humming songs and they would come over and say “you’ve gotta stop that” and I was “What?” They don’t want to be sued for you humming something that they would have to pay royalties on. So I would make up my own and they would stop that because they didn’t want to risk it. In the long run it helped me focus a little more on what I was doing. Time restraints were hard because I’m a slow ass tattooer. A ticking clock over your shoulder is never fun. By the 3rd tattoo we got it down to a science. Derek would start and he would do the fast passes because he’s quicker and then I would come in and shape up and beef up things so we got a routine going with that. Anything special you have coming up or out? Yea, I cant say much about it but I have a color set coming up towards the end of the year with World Famous. I’m working with a guy who does de- signer toys so I’m doing a line of figures so that’s cool. I’ll be doing some new prints, I’ll be doing Tommy’s Convention in CT with you guys and I think the Aviation one with World Famous so I’m keeping busy and spend- ing time with the family. 237
