chant marine . So he ’ s away for two weeks out of every month and he ’ s home for two weeks . When he ’ s home he ’ s tattooing . Then I have another guy that I apprenticed named Kevin . He does a lot of graphic arts and signs and stuff like that . He ’ s friends with my nephew Brian . He was Brian ’ s guinea pig a lot when Brian was apprenticing . With him seeing what Brian was capable of doing and with his art abilities felt the passion and wanted to learn how . So I apprenticed him . There ’ s another buddy of theirs who left another shop and his name is Drew . He ’ s been tattooing four or five years I think … three ? He ’ s doing some nice work too . So there ’ s the five of us here now .
The convention is coming up soon and I ’ m really looking forward to it . Coming up really quick ( laughs ) August 11th to 13th
I always tell people it ’ s one of my absolute favorite shows . It ’ s so relaxed plus I get to see a lot of people I don ’ t see as often as I would like . I love Kyle and Candy Dunbar and they ’ re in our booth this time and I haven ’ t seen them in a year so I ’ m excited about that . We also have Ashley Velazquez from Ink Master and Fame Montalvo and Millz Marley . Fame does really nice work and Millz is working the bikini contest so we are really looking forward to it . Great ! So We ’ ll see you in a couple of weeks !
