IH: Rwanda was quite
the experience for being
out of the country. It was
quite an experience. For
me, we were in Ohio and
we closed out the show
with Purple Haze; a little
Jimi Hendrix cover. It was
interesting to see some
of the older people who
were there. They came up
to us and were telling us
how they had actually attended a Jimi Hendrix concert. Being able to hear
those stories, to be able to be there through their stories; things like that
are what mean a lot to me. At a show when you have that kind of connec-
tion; to help bring people back to euphoric times that they’ve had in their
lives.
What can people expect from you or what would you guys like to see in
the near future?
(Collective) What we’re going to do is sell out the biggest arenas all
over the world. From Wembley Stadium to Madison (Square Garden) to
MetLife; that’s what we’re aiming for. We’re not going to settle for any-
thing less.
Nothing but success and more music. More albums, more traveling….
more tattoos! More ass-kicking all over the place.
SL: One thing I look forward to…yes we will do the big arenas, we will sell
