Who are some of the bands or musicians who have influenced you ? IH : For me , bands like Metallica , Pantera , Fallout Boy . Individual players Rex Brown , John Entwistle , Geezer Butler , Pete Wentz . Even some producers . People like Bob Rock and Rick Ruben .
AR : For me it ’ s always been like a mix . I like bands and music that are mixed genre . I like Linkin Park and Rage Against the Machine are two of the biggest ones . In terms of individual guitarists , everything from Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Slash . Even guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen and a lot of other guitarists . AA : Red Hot Chili Peppers , Metallica , Blink 182 , Foo Fighters … the list goes on and on . Mainly rock and hip hop . Individuals I would say Travis Barker , Chad Smith , Tony Royster Jr ., Taylor Hawkins … the list goes on .
SL : Although I do rock , soul , hip hop I really listen to Aretha Franklin , Patti LaBelle , Loretta Holloway ; the people that when they open their mouths you get chills down your spine . I grew up listening to that . With rock bands it ’ s Rage Against the Machine , Red Hot Chili Peppers . I love how they infuse the rock and the funk . I ’ m feeling that because I also love funk . I love James Brown . I ’ m Haitian and Dominican so I also grew up listening to cumpa , merengue , salsa and all these different caribbean vibes . When it comes to influences , no matter what I listened to I would always take something from it . Whether it ’ s the groove , the vocals , the melodies or even the lyrics . Now I ’ ve listened to some country music and they pour
