Internship Experience
Put your new language skills into practice and enhance your CV , giving you a head start in pursuing your dream career . You ’ ll work in an unpaid position at a professional company either full-time or part-time , depending on the location of your campus .
Available in : all EF schools in England , Ireland , Malta , South Africa , Australia , New Zealand , Germany , Italy , France and Japan .
Volunteer Experience
Improve your language skills and give your CV valuable experience by volunteering in an international environment during your language program . While you study at your EF school , you ’ ll enrich your understanding of the language by volunteering part-time at a local organization .
Available in : all EF schools in the USA , Canada ( except Vancouver and Vancouver Island ) and Playa Tamarindo .

Combine your experience with an academic program
An internship or volunteer experience is included as part of all EF Advanced Diploma Programs ( see page 22 ). For all other Language Year Abroad Programs , an internship or volunteer experience is optional .
