AS WE CONCLUDE yet another remarkable concert season , I ’ m excited to reflect on our collective musical journey . This season has been a celebration of diverse talent , our very own musicians , up-andcoming stars , complementary artistic genres , and the unifying power of music . We should all be proud of the Baltimore Symphony ’ s achievements under the leadership of new Music Director Jonathon Heyward . Jonathon ’ s inaugural season was full of captivating performances that offered a thrilling glimpse into the future !

Looking ahead , I ’ m particularly excited about Jonathon Heyward ’ s programs in June , as well as our May concerts conducted by Tan Dun , a highlight of our AAPI Festival . The program includes mesmerizing works such as Stravinsky ’ s Fireworks and the U . S . premiere of Dun ’ s Five Muses of Dunhuang .
