HOST FAMILY
Your host family is the heart of your exchange . You will share everyday life with them and join their family traditions .
Host families go through a thorough application process , including an in-home interview and background checks , before they are selected . Our staff and local representatives spend a lot of time finding the right host family for you . Your host family will have a genuine interest in exchange and will be excited to welcome you into their home and share their everyday lives with you .
Once your placement with a host family has been confirmed we will contact you with all the details and you will be encouraged to start communicating with them . This match may happen anywhere from a few months to a week before your departure .
HOSTING
All our host families are either voluntary or receive a contribution for hosting . They open their homes and hearts because they are keen to ‘ adopt ’ a son or daughter from another country and share and learn about each other ' s culture .
