In addition , the experience will provide you with skills that will contribute to your future academic studies and career .
As well as compulsory courses , in most destinations it is also possible to select from a variety of elective subjects . This is your chance to try something completely new and perhaps develop a passion for a subject area and career path that you had never considered before .
You ’ ll also have the chance to get involved in after school clubs and activities – a great way to meet new friends and have some fun .
NEW HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
Many things at your new school will be different from what you are accustomed to . You might encounter differentschool rules , subjects , dress codes or teaching methods . You will be surprised how quickly you get used to your new school enviroment .

Some subjects will be compulsory , but in most countries you will have the opportunity to choose some subjects yourself . Getting involved in after school activities is a great way to meet friends .
