A time of transformation

As already mentioned above , the Schuhmacher ’ s house has changed over the time . The main conversion took place probably in 1940s , when the workshop rooms and the stable was added . In the following time , the transformation of the building did not stop . In the upper floor , the open loggia was changed into a bathroom . A large window was added in front of the shop . Additionally , an extra door was implemented at the shoe store to sperate the shop from the living room . The interventions were smaller concerning their size . Nevertheless , these transformations are showing that a building is never completely built . Therefore , the building is in a constant process of transformation .
