a political figure appointed by God.
Even so, consider how he abused
his power and hurt the cause of
God. We cannot trust others to do
the right thing, especially if we will
be held accountable for their actions.
Look at what has happened
to the Christian community as its
leaders changed the faith from a
religious group seeking to bring
souls to Christ into state churches
and political rallying movements.
The result is that Christianity has
now been branded by those who
have tainted its name by invoking
it for some political purpose.
We cannot legislate morality.
There is no political solution to
evil. For this reason, we should
work diligently to keep the separation of church and state clear in
our churches. Our souls cannot be
transformed by the state, they can
only be transformed by the presence of Christ in our lives.
If you really want to make a
difference in the world, become a
missionary. Share your experience
of Christ with others. Help the
poor in your own community. Give
aid and comfort to the needy and
suffering around you. Be a witness
and give your testimony. Become a
missionary in the 21st Century.
The choice is yours. Will you
be a member of the political parties
of this world? Or will you become
a missionary of the kingdom of
heaven?
