The local municipality , the central church and all the schools can be arrived in just 5 minutes ’ by walk . Therefore , the area has a good bus line connection to other villages and cities in the valley and to the touristic parts of the mountains . The next bus stop can be reached in 5 minutes on foot . Public parking spaces are also available in and around the area . The site is therefore very easy to reach by public transport and on foot , although accessibility by car is the easiest and fastest way . The protection of historical buildings around the castle and their connection to the nature are very important aspects for the architectural language of this project . As the design studio was divided into five phases , I started my journey in Balzers and searched for abandoned buildings .
