The 2026 CHNA provides a shared foundation for action. Renown and Northern Nevada Public Health( NNPH) recognize that meaningful improvements in community health require sustained investment, strong partnerships and solutions that address the underlying conditions contributing to poor health outcomes. Our community investments are intended to complement the work already underway across the region while creating opportunities to strengthen and expand our collective impact.
Overview of Grant Opportunity Renown Health and NNPH’ s Partnerships for Progress Grants are three-year investments designed to advance larger-scale solutions to the most significant health needs identified through the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment. Awards of $ 25,000 to $ 100,000 per year for three( 3) years will support initiatives that go beyond individual programs to strengthen systems, build infrastructure, expand community capacity, and address barriers that contribute to poor health outcomes.
These grants are intended for initiatives where sustained, multi-year investment can lead to meaningful and measurable change. Renown and NNPH are seeking partners with a clear vision for how their work can grow, strengthen, or evolve over the three-year grant period and contribute to lasting improvements in community health. Partnerships for Progress proposals should demonstrate the potential for broad, lasting community impact.
Competitive proposals may:
• Expand or strengthen services, programs, systems, or models addressing significant community needs.
• Build infrastructure or organizational capacity to improve service delivery and coordination.
• Address service gaps, upstream factors, or systemic barriers affecting health outcomes.
• Strengthen cross-sector partnerships and collaboration.
• Scale successful programs to reach additional populations or communities.
• Demonstrate measurable outcomes and long-term sustainability.
• Integrate services across organizations and systems to improve access and effectiveness.
Based on the proposed initiative, available funding and alignment with organizational priorities, awards may be funded by Renown Health, Northern Nevada Public Health or jointly by both organizations. Organizations receiving a Partnerships for Progress Grant will not be eligible for additional Renown Health grant funding during the three-year award period. This restriction does not apply to sponsorship requests, which are reviewed separately.
