Curious about the French language and culture? This class is specifically designed for those considering a transition to French in high school. In this course, half of the time will be spent learning basic French phrases for everyday conversation, and the other half will be dedicated to cultural lessons. Topics covered include family life and education in France, geography including other Francophone countries, and culinary culture. Some lessons will be hands-on. For example, participants will learn how to make the traditional French vinaigrette. This course offers a great base for those planning to continue their study of French. Venez nombreux!

Introduce your child to the Spanish language in this Spanish immersion class developed especially for very young learners. Children will be immersed in the Spanish language through fun and educational activities and music. New material is covered in each session!

Animal Enthusiasts

Calling all zoo animal lovers! Join us for a full morning of fun as your child becomes more aware of animal behavior, care, and conservation. Hands-on learning activities will include stories, songs, crafts, and multi-sensory activities. Participants should bring a water bottle and a nut free snack. Children must be toilet trained.

Building Model Ships

Learn to assemble plastic ship models from kits and craft materials. Have fun customizing your model and building a diorama to show it at sea. Each week, a different part of the model ship will be cut out, glued together, and painted. Learn how to safely use simple tools, plastic cement, and paint supplies( brush and spray).
