Dear Residents and Families,
On behalf of the Village of Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Department, I am pleased to welcome you to another exciting summer season of programs, events, and community experiences. Our summer offerings reflect our continued commitment to providing high-quality recreation opportunities that serve residents of all ages, interests, and abilities.
This year represents an important period of growth and forward planning for our department. We are actively advancing our comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan, a strategic initiative that will guide facility improvements, and program development throughout the community. This planning effort ensures that future projects are data-driven, community-informed, and thoughtfully aligned with the evolving needs of our residents. The Master Plan will serve as a foundational roadmap, shaping the future of parks, facilities, and services in Hinsdale for years to come.
We are also proud to the addition of the new playground at Robbins Park. The new playground is more than a structure— it is a community asset designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, foster social connection, and support lifelong recreation for families across Hinsdale.
To stay informed on departmental projects and ongoing initiatives, please visit our project website at villageofhinsdale. org / parkprojects.
As you explore this summer program guide, you will find a wide variety of recreational opportunities, special events, and information about the Hinsdale Community Pool and rental opportunities at Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge.
We look forward to seeing you in our parks and facilities this summer.
Letter from the Superintendent
Warmly,
Michael Hayes
