WARNING
n When replacing the air conditioning filter
Check that the charging connector is not connected. Failure to do so may result in the air conditioning system operating during the
procedure, possibly resulting in injury.
NOTICE
n When using the air conditioning system
lMake sure that a filter is always
installed. Using the air conditioning system without a filter may cause damage to the system.
lThe filter is replaceable. When cleaning the filter, do not clean
with water or an air gun.
n To prevent damage to the filter cover
When moving the filter cover in the direction of arrow to release
the fitting, pay attention not to apply excessive force to the
claws. Otherwise, the claws may be damaged.
Electronic key battery
Replace the battery with a new one if it is depleted.
As the key may be damaged if the following procedure is not performed properly, it is recommended that key battery replacement be performed by your SUBARU retailer.
nIf the electronic key battery is depleted
The following symptoms may occur:
lThe smart key system and wireless remote control will not function properly.
lThe operational range will be reduced.
Items to prepare
Prepare the following before replacing the battery:
• Flathead screwdriver
• Small flathead screwdriver
• Lithium battery CR2450
nUse a CR2450 lithium battery
lBatteries can be purchased at
your SUBARU retailer, local electrical appliance shops or camera
stores.
lReplace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
lDispose of used batteries according to the local laws.
