Elks girls lacrosse has made state last four seasons

The Elk River girls lacrosse team made the Class A state tournament for the fourth consecutive season. Elk River will try and make it five consecutive state tournament appearances this season.
2025 record: 12-6( 7-2 in NWSC; lost to Maple Grove in Class A consolation semifinal)
Head coach: Stephanie Anderson
Key returning players: Sophomore attacker Corah McCline scored 39 goals for Elk River last season.
Key departures: Attacker Lilly Osterman led the Elks in goals with
72 in 2025. She also had 26 assists for a grand total of 98 points.

The Zimmerman Thunder boys golf coaching staff is excited about the group of young men returning for the 2026 season.

Marcus Hogan and Tristan Stoner, juniors Cash Baron, Clayton Denis, Blaze Knight and Trigg Zincke.

Coach Bartlett’ s expectations for 2026:“ Hoping that some kids finish strong for us throughout the season and stay consistent. If we play consistent, smart golf, we’ ve got a great opportunity ahead of us. A lot of guys are coming back for their fifth and sixth years as they’ ve been with our program since seventh and eighth grade.”
