This year I joined the Crochet Club. In the winter I am a part of Knowledge Bowl and I enjoy Track and Field in the spring. Some of my favorite classes this year were Human Anatomy and Public Speaking.

This past school year I have been involved in cross-country running, track as a captain, and managed the girl’ s varsity basketball team. I was co-president of Letters of Love, and involved in LINK and NHS, as well as at Word of Peace church, helping lead Morning Glory. Within school this year, I have taken AP Lit, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Government, as well as college level pre-calc and spanish.

This past year I continued to be involved in the RHS theatre department by acting in the productions and being the event planner for Drama Club. This is also my fourth year in choir, where I continue to grow as a singer. Academically, I challenged myself with AP Government and College Pre-Calculus, while having fun experiencing new subjects like Criminal Justice. Outside of school, I finished my last season as a performer at Eureka Aerial, an aerial dance studio, which is something I hope I can do again down the road.
2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?
My most memorable high school experience would have to be singing a solo song at my last choir concert freshman year. It was special because I felt really connected with my choir at that time, we’ d had a great year, and getting
spent on the cross country team, especially senior year. Although I am not a standout athlete, my teammates made this season extra fun, and I feel so loved and valued on this team. I have made so many connections on the cross country team over the years( especially one of my best friends Maggie), and even though the running is hard, the people make it worth it!
3. What are your plans for the future?
I am going to the University of North Dakota to major in Commercial Aviation!

I am going to the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities in the fall to major in journalism. I can’ t wait for all the opportunities the school will give me. As I principally love writing, I would enjoy being a print journalist, but years of theater have also prepared me for being an on-screen anchor, so I’ m excited to discover what path I will take after college.
