This past year, I took a majority of PSEO classes while also taking CIS Human Anatomy and Physiology in preparation
for the high-level science classes I will need to take in college. Alongside my academics, I also competed in multiple sports. I was the starting Varsity goalkeeper for the Rogers Girls Soccer team, helping set multiple school records and reaching the section finals. I was also part of the inaugural season for Rogers Girls Flag Football. In addition to sports and academics, I was involved in
service-based activities through Leo’ s Club and National Honor Society.
2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?
The most memorable part of my high school experience was my time as a member of the Rogers Girls Soccer program. Whether it was the time spent with teammates at practices and games, the
fun bus rides to Brainerd and Bemidji, or the big games we won together, I have so many good memories revolving around soccer. During those seasons as a Lady Royal, I grew as both an athlete and a person. My coaches and teammates pushed me to be better, and the lessons I learned are something I can implement beyond the soccer field. I spent four years as a Varsity starter,
and during that time I built friendships I wouldn’ t have made without soccer, experienced success I’ m proud of, and created memories that shaped my high school years more than anything else.
