JIM LORENZEN INDUCTED 2023
Jim has been a highly involved and impactful member since 1991, with a primary focus on protecting the industry. He has chaired JLAC and served as a wise and analytical voice for over two weeks, and is an original founding member of the AAMD Alliance, which under his guidance has grown to direct $ 500,000 in annual political spending.
TOM LUINSTRA INDUCTED 2016
Tom opened the Apartment Finders International in 1971 and promptly joined AAMD. He was a huge advocate of the association and was one of the original supporters of the AAMD Vacancy and Rent Survey. Tom was very active with Family Homestead, which is AAMD’ s signature charity still today.
JACK LUSCOMBE INDUCTED 2015
Jack the Roofer, as he’ s been known for decades, was so charitable. His generosity of providing donations to the food banks and always donating a booth to Family Homested at the Trade Show are just a couple examples of his philanthropic nature. He has been memorialized with the AAMD Pay It Forward Award each year at June Awards.
DENNIS MALONE INDUCTED 2015
With over 40 years of AAMD involvement and volunteerism, including being a Past AAMD President, he taught CAM and so many other educational programs for decades! He was a NAA Regional Vice President for several terms but is best known for leading the Colorado Apartment Association for 14 straight years as the CAA President.
SARAH MALONE INDUCTED 2016
Sarah started in the industry with Urban Properties back in 1975 and in 1988 went to the supplier side and worked as a VP at For Rent Magazine. Sarah is a a Jack Shapiro Award and the NAA Paragon Award. Sarah was always a strong representative for the supplier member at both the local and national level.
TIM MCENTEE INDUCTED 2017
Tim has been one of the more prolific developers having built nearly 6,500 apartments in Denver and over 10,500 nationally with a market cap of nearly $ 2 billion. Tim has spoken at Economic Conferences and served in leadership roles in over 25 years as a member of AAMD.
