HADLEY BAKKER
Junior forward Hadley Bakker is a captain for the Maple Grove girls hockey team this season. She returns after an outstanding sophomore season in which she had 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists.
AUDREY DAVIS
Edina junior forward Audrey Davis returns after amassing 36 points last season on 13 goals and 23 assists in 22 games.
KYLIE JAKSHA
The new Wayzata goalie is a senior transfer student from Montana, Kylie Jaksha. In her first three games of the season, Jaksha allowed only two goals total in consecutive victories.
LUCY JOHNSON
Senior Lucy Johnson is the top returning scorer for the Hopkins / St. Louis Park hockey team. Last season she had 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. She was one of the Royals’ soccer captains this fall.
RYLEE LORTON
Battle-tested goalie Rylee Lorton is in her
fourth season with the Eden Prairie Eagles. Last season the skilled stopper played 1,167 minutes with a goals-against average of 2.97.
CATE MCCOY
Senior forward Cate McCoy led the Edina girls to second place in the State Class AA Tournament last season. She paced Hornet goal scorers by lighting the lamp 21 times while adding 18 assists for 39 points.
DELANEY MILLER
Dynamic junior forward Delaney Miller is expanding on what she did last season. She already has one five-goal game this season. Last
year she contributed 25 points on 10 goals and 15 assists.
AVA MOLDE
One of the best twoway forwards in the Lake Conference, Ava Molde made a great transition to the ice after helping Wayzata win the state soccer title this fall. She had 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists during the 2024-25 hockey season.
LORELAI NELSON
Senior forward Lorelai Nelson is in her fifth season of varsity hockey for the Edina High girls team. Sometime this season, she could become the all-time leading scorer in school history. Nelson had
41 points last season on 18 goals and 23 assists in earning All-State and All- Lake honors.
JULIA OSTAPEIC
Wayzata senior forward Julia Ostapeic was far and away the Trojans’ leading scorer last season with 44 points on 29 goals and 15 assists. Early returns this season indicate Ostapeic will score even more in her final season.
BELLA PROSSER
Junior goalie Bella Prosser of Maple Grove could be among the state’ s best this season. As a sophomore, she posted a 16-8-3 record with a goals-against average of 1.61 and a save percentage
of. 935.
HAZEL SCHENKELBERG
After leading Hopkins High’ s girls hockey team in scoring with 26 goals and 10 assists as a ninthgrader, Hazel Schenkelberg has transferred to Edina for her sophomore season. It took her only three games to record her first hat trick with the Hornets.
CLAIRE SOMMERFELD
As a ninth-grader last year, Claire Sommerfeld showed that she could score big at the varsity level. Last season she had 35 points on 20 goals and 15 assists as the Skippers finished 24-3-1 and won the Lake title.
