Lake Conference girls talent is better than ever

Over the last 10 years, the Lake Conference has sent more women to NCAA Division 1 hockey than any conference in America.
Earning a spot on a Lake varsity roster is the start of the process, then in order to catch the attention of college recruiters, you must play at a high level every night.
Following is our Girls Galaxy of Stars for the 2025-26 season. Read about their progress in future editions of the newspaper as our sportswriters look for more players to add to the list.
LIBBY MOE
Junior defenseman Libby Moe was a top-five scorer for the state runner-up Edina girls hockey team last season when she registered 32 points on seven goals and 25 assists.
MADELINE ABBOTT
