How the Pilot Works & Why It Matters
While the exact launch dates are still being finalized, our division will soon invite staff members to participate in this confidential pilot survey. The survey is relatively short and provides every participant with a personalized well-being report filled with small, high-impact strategies tailored to your unique profile.
To deepen the impact of this pilot, select staff members will also have the unique opportunity to debrief their findings with a PERMAH coach. These private sessions will help participants dive into their results, unpack their data, and build a customized roadmap for personal flourishing.
Moving From Data to Action
This assessment is not a“ one-and-done” checkbox. Once the pilot is complete and we review the aggregated, de-identified findings, our leadership team will look closely at divisional trends. What are our collective strengths? Where are we collectively feeling stretched or burned out?
By understanding these trends, SCL will be equipped to design and implement targeted interventions, resources, and structural support systems that directly address the real-being needs of our staff.
Achieving Our Strategic Vision
This initiative is also a vital step forward for our entire campus. By implementing the PERMAH survey, we are directly fulfilling Goal 3.2( Health and Well- Being Assessment) of our divisional strategic plan. This pilot actively positions ODU to achieve its broader vision: to become a nationally recognized, health-promoting university.
A healthier, more resilient university starts right here with our staff. Stay tuned for more details on exact timing and how you can participate in the
PERMAH pilot!
