I picked up a Woobles beginner crochet kit in August of 2024 to pass the time while recovering from surgery and fell in love. It occupies my hands and my mind, which has felt calming and meditative. I’ ve also started giving my creations away to friends, family, and other folks in my community. Last Spring, I crocheted over 75 uteri to bring awareness to reproductive health concerns and the need for additional research.
