Under the leadership of VP Hephner LaBanc, Monarchs Give Back 2026 is bringing the ODU community together to fight food insecurity.
Since the campaign launched in 2022, Monarchs have donated nearly 225,000 food items to support
Norfolk Public Schools students and families and ODU students through the Monarch Pantry.
This year, we’ re aiming even higher:
150,000 food items
or monetary donations by October 30.
How You Can Help:
• New! Support the campaign through payroll deduction.
• Host a food drive in your office or department.
• Make a secure online gift($ 1 = 1 food item).
• Place a collection box in your workspace.
• Collect donations at meetings, events, or conferences.
• Encourage colleagues and students to participate.
• Promote the campaign through your department’ s communications.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference for our students and our community.
