President and CEO John Lincoln at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in Noorvik, Alaska. |
With the arrival of spring, I hope you are all enjoying time outdoors with your loved ones during the longer days and warmer weather. As we welcome the excitement of subsistence activities across our region, this is a wonderful time of year to celebrate our close-knit communities and the connections we have as shareholders and family.
In March, we gathered for our annual meeting, and I want to extend my gratitude to the community of Noorvik for welcoming us and helping host a successful event. The community ' s warm hospitality helped make this a special time for everyone.
For those who could not join us virtually or in person, this edition of The Hunter provides detailed report summaries from the annual meeting on pages three through nine. I am proud to share that our corporation and subsidiaries have achieved record breaking economic and financial success over the past year. Under the guidance of our board of directors,

the leadership team at NANA works hard to manage our resources responsibly and deliver these positive financial reports and the resulting benefits directly to you.
On page two you will find important updates from our board of directors including recent election results and updates regarding our board officers. We have also provided a summary of board actions for shareholders who were not able to participate in the call-in or livestream of the last board meeting.
We recently celebrated the launch of the NANA Works website, which you can learn more about on page 11. This is a major milestone in working toward the vision our board of directors have of being able to help shareholders gain meaningful employment no matter where they live or what career they want to pursue. The NANA Works program is designed to connect our shareholders with career and training opportunities. I strongly encourage shareholders aged 18 or older to use this
